I didn't listen to it but I read the lyrcis. That's um, ah pretty dumb. First that's talking about drugs and I don't have an addiction, if I did I wouldn't be complaining cause it, the alcohol, works.
Let's flip a coin. Heads I get tail, Tails I get head.
here this little story should help you with your dilema.
An old lady called the local phone company to report her telephone failed to ring when her friends called -- and that on the few occasions when it did ring, her pet dog always moaned right before the phone rang. The telephone repairman proceeded to the scene, curious to see this psychic dog or senile elderly lady.
He climbed a nearby telephone pole, hooked in his test set, and dialed the subscriber's house.
The phone didn't ring right away, but then the dog moaned loudly and the telephone began to ring.
Climbing down from the pole, the telephone repairman found:
1. The dog was tied to the telephone system's ground wire via a steel chain and collar.
2. The wire connection to the ground rod was loose.
3. The dog was receiving 90 volts of signaling current when the phone number was called.
4. After a couple of such jolts, the dog would start moaning and then urinate on himself and the ground.
5. The wet ground would complete the circuit, thus causing the phone to ring...which demonstrates that some problems CAN be fixed by pissing and moaning.

Little angel go away
Come again some other day
The devil has my ear today
I'll never hear a word you say
He promised I would find a little solace
And some piece of mind
Whatever just as long as I don't feel so
Desperate and Ravenous
I'm so weak and powerless over you
i guess your right...this has nothing to do with using alcohol to relieve your problems
ah but you left out the part about monkey on the back because that is a direct reference to drugs. How many people remember the corny *** drug commercials in the 80's about monkeys on the back and the other one about eggs and your brain?

When they bring my GPA from a 3.45 down to a 3.08, ya they can. I need atleast a 3.25 to get into the college, so.... And the classes I'm taking right now won't show up on my transcript in time, so I'm pretty much screwed. Time to look for another college to go to. And I don't skip classes much. I only skipped the 2 today cuz I lost track of time. i've skipped a total of 4 classes over 4 years now
Don't midterm grades still impact your GPA? I'm not really sure. You can always ask the teachers/professors to consider raising your grade based on independent study. Explain to them you really want to bring up your GPA, and you are willing to put in the extra work required to do so. (note, I am not sure how long past grade submission they can be changed, but it does not hurt to ask).

Are you in college now or HS?
I'm in HS. I've e-mailed my teachers, but no response yet.

Ok now im a little less understanding. You now how fortunate you are just to be worrying about those good grades your getting? You need some serious perspective. I would give just about anything to go back to my senior year of high school and start over. Holy **** man. You have every oppurtunity in fron of you and your letting the speed bumps get in your way. Man grab the pair you got and use em, make everything work the way you want because you have a multitude of possibilities. Seriously though, take a step back get some perspective on the grand scheme of things and look at what YOU can do to change things the way you want.

I say concentrate on school and paying the bank back, jobs are easy to find dont worry, girls dont even get me started but you'll be fine and who knows this might end up being the best year ever
damn dude, your in highschool and your worrying?? I was lucky to get over a 2.5 in HS...and for the first time in college I just hit a 3.0....get over it, it all seems bad at first but everything has a way of working it self out....trust me, it happens to everyone...lol, you should be skipping more classes and having some more fun...your senior year is the best time of your life weather you know it or not.........oh and to the guy that started the religion stuff...kinda ironic with your handle being bad influence...just thought I'd throw that in there. ;)
You should listen to what was said above about perspective. 3.45 to 3.08 is not a life-changing difference. In terms of what college you go to, that will not make a DAMN bit of difference. What does matter is what you do when you get to that college. At standout at a state school can succeed Ivy-League style with hard work.
Ok I have a few questions for you:
First: what school are you wanting to get into so bad?
Second: did you send your application to said school BEFORE last semester was over?
Third: What are your standardized test scores? What are the required scores to get into that school?
Schools are flexible. The GPA they give you as required for admission is not SET IN STONE.

Sorry to hear that your year isn't going as planned ......... but you're in college .....c'mon man cheer up ...........you got your WHOLE life in front of you ......... everything will be fine ............ btw, if you want to take medication for your problems , make sure you ask your doctor about "Fukitol" .......... it helped me ;) ................
oh and to the guy that started the religion stuff...kinda ironic with your handle being bad influence...just thought I'd throw that in there. ;)
it was my old boat's name...I've undergone lots of changes in my life since those days...but yea the name does sound ironic
also about the song being about drugs...the singer is real metapholical (bad spelling) and just because it relates to the drugs your thinking of, it really depends on what you think a drug is and what they are used for...Maynard James Keenan is a very intelligent man btw
if youre planning on doing engineering, theres about two years worth of prereq and humanities classes you need to take before you get into the real engineering curriculum. its a pretty good idea to get these out of the way at a community college. i wish i did.
your priorities in this order are school, bank, job.
i dont know what to reccomend you do with your current grades situation other than talk it over with your teachers. though if they failed you they probably dont like you. :( i got though high school with a 3.89 and minimal effort exerted. college is a whole nother game. (which is another reason a community college aint bad for your first two years. college is what you make of it. doesnt matter which you go to.)
see if the rents will help you out with the bank. reason with them; would they rather see the bank get interest or themselves.
senior in high school with a good gpa, doesnt sound like youre a bad kid. landing a menial mall retail job shouldnt be too bad. granted its after the holidays, but still worth shopping around. and never be afraid to wash dishes.
and finally the car. whats wrong? youve got a whole forum at your disposal to fix it.
oh yeah the girl. if shes a keeper itll fix itself.

...it really depends on what you think a drug is and what they are used for
My drug is life man, I love it I can't get enough of it. I wake up every morning and just start snorting that air because I just can't get enough. It's like a cheap high with every breath.

Haven’t done anything on the Camaro, but put LEDs on my truck headlights . And my oil pressure sensor went out on the truck so going to fix that this...
