I've been little movies with music, pictures, and videos lately with windows movie maker. I'm thinking now that I want something that has more advanced effects to make the video more appealing. Do any of you have some good software or recommend a certain one? A link would be great too. Thanks.

pinnacle does a fine job if you arent a pro, or you could just get a mac with whatever their editing software is, i dont remember off the top of my head, but really that would be the best way to go if money isnt an issue, which it always is, but yeah, i would just pirate pinnacle if i were you -

We have Final Cut Pro at our school, it works good, but it is on Macs so it takes some getting use to.

Pinnacle is awesome. Avid is just awesome.
On the simple side of things you have ULead VideoStudio (generic effects), Adobe Premiere, and there was one more, but I don't remember.Comment
