I didn't bother clicking on the linky, but they did make a 4 cylinder Camaro. It was in the early-mid 80s, they called it the Berlinetta (i believe) and it was powered by the old "Iron Duke" engine. Infact you can look it up on wikipedia under: The Slowest Car Ever.

They made one from 1982-1986: LQ9 base 4- inline. Overhead valve. four-cylinder. Cast Iron block and head. Bore and stroke: 4.00x 3.00in. Displacment:151 cid (2.5liter). Compression ratio: 9.0:1. Brake horsepower:92 at 4000rpm. Torque :134lbs.-ft at 2800 rpm. Five main bearings. Hydraulic vavle lifers. Induction system: Throtte-body fuel injection. The 85-86 four-cyinders only came with 88 hp and 132 tq.
I got all that Info from this book( Standard Catalog of Camaro 1967-2002) I bought at Books A Million. It has Collector pricing, Historical facts, Options lists, Production data, Engine specifications, vin decoding charts.
4banger thirdgens are uber rare, if you find one, keep it. Plust the stick cars got 3.73 rears. I'm still toying w/the thought of a built up ecotech in the mero.... fopund the gm guide to build it up in stages from 200-1000hp.

yup the old iron duke. 2.5L, heck the other day i was at a junkyard and found a camaro with a inline6 it was an 84. i called a few friends of mine and sure enough they made a few. VERY rare but they did.
