I am going to be painting my winterbeater, 88 2wd 2.0 ranger.
Its going to be Krylon "semiflat" black. I was thinking of doing flames, ive always liked them, but I dont want the truck to be flashy.
I had two ideas, lay the whole truck with the semiflat and do flames in pinstriping, without filling it in, then id have flames, without the "LOOK AT ME!" part.
The other idea was to do flames in gloss black or clear over the flat. Kinda like ghost flames, something that you wouldnt notice untill you were right up close.
Any of those sound like a good idea, wish I could find pics of something like that.
