For those of you that know a thing about computers, mine is currently screwed up. it all began when i ran the spyware scan and left to go work out. when i got back, it was turned off, turned it back on and all i got was a black screen but the light was on and it sounded like it was working but no screen. finally after turning it on and off a bunch it works but about 2 inches of the screen on the right side is blank but the screen appears to be resized like (you can still see the clock at the bottom of the screen) but other than that it appears to be running fine.

the computer is a toshiba satellite A75-213 laptop thats roughly 1.5 years old.
    much thanks

Sounds like possibly a registry file became corrupted? Have you verified correct resolutions, refresh rates, and calibrated your monitor?

      Re: computer help

I had something like that happen to mine. I unpluged the power and removed the battery. Then put it back together. I was then able to do a system restore. The problem was I wasn't really turning off the power with the button. I had to remove all power.
