i just threw up a little bit.... why does hollywood have to go around and destroy all these great muscle cars, just so some retards who cant act, can continue to earn millions, and create movies that are unwatchable for the rest of us...

So funny that this thread came up, I recently rewatched the first two movies to see what mistakes and obvious problems they had.

          "I need NOS!"

          (Still entertaining though.)

I just watched this movie on Friday, it is rotary.

The challenger almost in the end showed pistons.

Ofcourse the classic one is when Dom said, "You're lucky you didn't blow the welds on the intake." Ofcourse you'll blow everything else but that.

The challenger doing a wheelie with those tires is another flaw.

But you know every car action movie you could almost pin point their flaws.

Or how about how a supra with low profile tires can keep up with said fully blown challenger on huge drag slicks off the line.

In the first movie Paul Walker pulls into the alley with all the other rice before the first race and throws down his pink slip. A group of people go over and look under the hood of the car, see if the car is worth while. They name off this and that, and then Ja rule walks over and looks under thehood and states "he's got enough NOS in there to blow himself up." I was under the impression that the two giant nitrous bottles were in the back seat??

what do the bottles have to do with anything??? its the nitrous jets, solenoids, and number of nozzles that determine how much nitrous actually goes into the motor.. theoretically, you could run a fogger system with a sneaky pete bottle if you wanted.. it would only run for like 5 seconds though..

the error is the whole idea that he needs two big bottles to go faster... the extra bottle is basically just added weight, thus making him slower..

In the trailer for the first movie... (Edited out in the actual movie)

You can clearly see a set of hydraulics lifting the Charger off the ground for the wheelie in the last race against the Supra. You also clearly see the smoke spewing from inside the rims moments before anyone ever hits the gas.

And cmon, you're going to smoke two big slicks like that, yet still get enough traction to pull a wheelie?

I beleive he was talking of the danger of having that much nitrous in the car which is shown when the car explodes.

The biggest flaw of all in part I was the fact that they should have had Jordana Brewster (dom's sister) completely nude in at least 10 of the scenes.
