So, I just bought my cousins 93 V6 Automatic Camaro, and nobody seems to like it. All i can get is "IS IT A V8?!?" "IS IT MANUAL!?!?!" and its starting to bug me. haha. Is the V8 really THAT much better that a V6 Camaro isn't even cool at all. I know manuals can have the upper edge, and can be fun but, its not just for me. But now I am determined to build the best V6 engine around, so I can shut these fools up. haha. So really, I need some comebacks... Anyone got any?

think of it this way: how many peeps sink $$$$$ in to vee-ates jsut to have it brake or have to constantly upgrade them to make them faster?

Re: V6 vs. V8
LOL, I got the same **** when I got my Camaro. As soon as my cousin and his buddy came over to see it, the first thing they asked was "Is it a v8?", second, "Is it a stick?". ROFL. What is it with people and sticks?1995 Bluish green 3.4l Camaro.
Bone stock right now lol!
http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2042355

Re: V6 vs. V8
I had a 97 3.8 that i had done a fair amount of work too. Cold air, Pacesetters and full 3" exhaust, LS1 rear end, LS1 brakes, Aluminum driveshaft, and some other goodies. Recently sold that and picked up a 93 Z28. It is a night and day difference between it and the 3.8, but its the same amount of fun to work on. I loved working on my V6 just as much as i enjoy wrenching on the V8. The only difference is the time slip at the track.
