So, I just bought my cousins 93 V6 Automatic Camaro, and nobody seems to like it. All i can get is "IS IT A V8?!?" "IS IT MANUAL!?!?!" and its starting to bug me. haha. Is the V8 really THAT much better that a V6 Camaro isn't even cool at all. I know manuals can have the upper edge, and can be fun but, its not just for me. But now I am determined to build the best V6 engine around, so I can shut these fools up. haha. So really, I need some comebacks... Anyone got any?

Heh simply tell them that any jack *** can build a motor that has been built by 15 million people in the past, and it takes hard work, and dedication to build a V6.

I got my car about a month ago (99 camaro rs) and i get **** everyday from people at school. the first thing people asked were, is it a v8 and is it manual. i just hate these kids at my school with v8's just because they are spoiled by theyre parents.

yeah its funny when people say i dont mind working on a lt1. i remember when i used to say that, when doing easy ****. first time i had to tear it down, my attitude changed real quick. spark plug changing = ftl, opti swaps = ftl , the passenger side anything = ftl. ****ing lt1s. but i still love the moody hooker.

yeah, anyone who says working on an LT1 is fun or easy has no experience with anything remotely easy to compare it to. if you let it get to you then you are just like them in thinking that a v6 is a lesser of a vehicle to get you to where you have to go. I just tell people who give me **** that it having a V6 is why I do not drag race it, which I haven't in forever, it shuts them up because then it brings the car down to a level of any other car, where it should be and not something intended to be a muscle car
