I see it says that on the testing pages. I guess they haven't updated the teams page yet: http://www.jayski.com/pages/2007teams.htm
It shows him in the 01 car with Mark Martin.

It also said at the top of the page that #39 is unassigned this season. I guess they were just using it as a # to test with, more cars more better. Plus gives him his own seat, instead of waiting for Mark to get done testing and jumping in for a few laps.

You're probably not too far from my apartment. I'm right on Beville just before Clyde Morris. That must be a hell of a drive for you coming from where you're at in Orlando.
yeah it sucks... 150 miles roundtrip each day and I have been doing it 4-5 times a week. working 10-18 hour shifts. Getting assload of overtime, paid to drive, and I get mileage and food money.

the theatre is on Dunlatown and Nova

So.....I check out this new CoT and I must say it looks rather weird.

It looks like a compact import or something. Just so differently shaped from the regular body style of the stock cars now.

Yeah, I haven't warmed up to COT yet. Durring one of the fan Q&A's I heard that someone asked Dale Jr about the wing, and he brought up a good point. What happens when the car backs into the wall and you have to spend 2 or 3 hours fixing it? There are two mount points on the decklid that hold it on, so I guess they would have to replace the decklid? In the current config, they would beat that spoiler back into place and get back out on the track. It's gonna make a little wreck into a last place finish.

With millions of dollars at stake and some of the brightest engineers in the field, I'm sure the teams will come up with something.

LOL, wasn't one of the points of having the COT to bring the cost of having a team down?

Didn't formula 1 try something like that a few years ago? Implement a bunch of new rules to cut down costs. All that did was make the engineers spend more money in the design and durability of the machines.

Yeah, I know, they'll just spend it somewhere else. But that was one of the "reasons" for the COT.

I think NASCAR did it to lower their own cost, of having to have all those templates. Now they'll only need one set.

And are they going to take the "Stock" out of NASCAR? Maybe change it to "Same"

Are they the one's that got those cheep tires that were killing people? I only have time in my life for one motorsport right now. I don't follow F1.

lol. Only one company, the same that provides tires for nascar. I guess nascar got the better engineers.
