  • FBody and Cold Weather

As this is my first winter with the 00 Bird, I was surprised how well I got around. Over the weekend we picked up about 2 inches of freezing rain and then a few inches of snow. I seem to get around as good as the fwd cars. I was wondering about the rest of yall in cool country.

I'd rather not drive it in ice and snow, its just a hassle.

                  Re: FBody and Cold Weather

Drivin' in the snow can be fun in rwd, you can make u-turns on a dime and slide around corners. Just remember, you can't stop any faster than n e 1 else. I used to love driving my Firebirds in the snow however, now that I have a 2002, I wanna keep her around for a while - so I have a fwd winter car to save the salt from rotting it.

haha, but I think us northerners have had to negotiate snow and ice on a regular basis, so i think we drive better, imo.

I'm actually in Waukesha, Sussex to be exact. It's cool to see more of us on here from this area.

Are you drivin' your Camaro/Firebird this time of year?
