well, if it were mine, i would get black clear corners for the front, and nite shade the rear side markers. I would also get an SS spoiler.

            Very nice looking car man!

Aluminum DS, LSD, 3.42's or 3.73's, and blacked out turn signals will finish it up nicely. Then save up for your turbo kit :D

Re: what should i do next?

you have a stock, heavy 2 piece ds...al ds are lighter 1-piece, gets more power to the wheels...

i changed ds on my 86 cutty which wasn't hard, but haven't done one on a maro. you can get them around $100-150 on ebay

Re: what should i do next?

i looked it up, i think that is going to be my next mod. but i went and jacked up my car a little to take a look at the ds. are you sure its a 2 piece? as far as i could tell it looked like a 1 piece to me, but i could be wrong. did 2000s come with 2 piece?

and from what i read to install it, you just unbolt the 4ish bolts holding the old driveshaft on, on each side and then it's a direct fit for the new one?

Yea, some 4th gens have 1 piece steel drive shafts. I'm not sure on which dates... but i know mine has a one piece (arrrr).

you probably have a 1 piece steel. you can still upgrade to a 1 piece aluminum DS from an ls1.

and yes, thats all you have to do to replace it. very easy install. once you get the bolts off, just pull the DS away from the tranny and it slides right out. reverse this process to put the new one on. they normally run around 75 bucks give or take for a used one. try ls1tech.com and ebay.com for them.
