I wonder what happened and which motor he chose and put in, or if he just got an LS1 car within that nearly 2 year period of time since he started this thread.
car is still sitting just as it was when he made this thread. he's not sure what the hell to do with it anymore.

Yeah, this thread fails. Hasn't he had the worst problems with a V8 swap and getting it to work? Or was that someone else that tried swapping an LT1 into his V6?

Probably would've been cheaper to find an LT1 car. I knew a guy that put an FI Caddy engine in a 3rd gen. Worked and ran great till it got to temp.....and kept going. Blessed be those who try and don't quite make it, for it's better to have given the effort, rather than to have sat and speculated it to death.
...On the other hand, if it's the daily driver you have to depend on. Think it over.
