i know this is the complete wrong forum... but i dont really like the people at fullsizechevy.. so here goes..
about how much would it cost and what all would i need.. to take a truck with no power locks and no power windows and turn it into power windows and locks...
i know i'll need the door panels and switches and windows motors... what else? thanks alot!
2003 silverado.. its basically the exact truck i've been looking for.. except no power windows and locks.. and if i could get a good deal on it i might just buy that and convert everything
you dont like the people at FSC??? man, I did'nt even post that much there and they were extremely helpful...and it would'nt be factory but they sell retro-fit kits for what your talking about for a couple hundo.
You could just buy the door panels and all the wiring, motors and all from a junk yard. Heck, if you find another truck with the same color doors with everything you need, just pull the doors. All you should need is wiring to the ignition then. Dunno how much it would cost, but I assume it would be cheaper. I may be wrong though. My suggestion for Junk yards is if it can fit in your pocket, that's where it belongs :D
