Its tax time and this year I was thinking of doing it online.
Last year there were a few Really good links on doing taxes yourself.
Too bad the server doesnt keep old old threads like that..... grrr

2k2 camaro, K&N, SLP whisper lid, Konis, AEM, HP Tuners, Angel eyes/Halos, CF SS ram air hood, 4.10s, Zexel Torsen, UMI SFCs, CrossFire, BFGs, Gatorback, Catco, Flows, and TLC! DONT feed the Trolls!
Ive used www.turbotax.com to do my taxes the last 8 yrs or so. Ive been very happy with the results. They ask alot of questions, so make sure you have all your earnings statements ready.
I love how the IRS.gov website wont allow you to do it on their site (they send you off to a million different others)
and
under where it says Scam Alerts:
all it has is "if its too good to be true, it probably is"
no sh1t? Thats alot of help on avoiding scams lol

Anyone know the specifics on writing off the tax for purchasing a vehicle? I remember someone telling me about it and I've searched and I'll be damned if I can find anything. I've searched the IRS, internet, turbotax. Any suggestions?
Let's flip a coin. Heads I get tail, Tails I get head.
I bought the camaro in august and I know you can write it off just not sure which line to put it on. I don't want to pay someone to do it because it's basic math but that's got me stumped. It goes on 1040 Schedule A but not sure wether it's line 7 or 8.
Between the car tax and just buying my condo and having no exemptions I'll have a fat *** check coming back. Too bad I have to pay back family, work on the condo and the car is last :(

I like the fact that we just do a short form. The thing about deductions are you had to spend money to get them, and they never seem to work out evenly.
