  • oh sweet lord...

    i drove my first v8 fbody tonight...a 1993 pontiac trans am a4. all i can say is wow. i couldnt believe the power it had...it was unbelievable. floored it, slid first,slid second, and chirped 3rd...it was amazing :drool:

    i know what you mean...i'm still on a high from when one of my buddies let me drive his 'vette on an empty highway...ah...good times...

            eh, its fun until you get used to it. then you want to mod it and make more power to get your fix. when i first got mine i was like OMG, soon after its just eh...needs some mods.

            current car- 95 Trans am- bolt ons, parked and collecting dust. why? because **** it

              ya, i still want to try an o2 ss...and those popup headlights are distracting...i was kinda having trouble seeing over them :eek:

                That's how I was when I got my Camaro after the Cobalt, now I want more...Our 02 Ram Air has some mods done and that thing makes my Camaro look like a slug. You do get used to the power though.

                  its a totally different experience between the two. ls1s power band is so smooth you wont even feel like youre hauling ***. lt1s kinda punch you in the face and fade off in upper rpms while ls1s keep you pinned to the seat firmly. its hard to explain it honestly. going from my car to my buddies 99 6 speed z28 feels wierd. even he said mine feels more torquey, even though its not.

                      Yeah, my buddy said my car felt faster then his '98 Z28. The LS1 is smoother then the LT1, which is like you said, a punch in the face

                        It's even more fun with a 6 speed. I drive my g/f's 94 LT1 T56 all the time.

                            Until you put a shift kit in the A4 i drove a 97 with a shift kit and omg its breakneck torque at every gear. :drool:

                            '96 Trans Am M6:) Cam, lifters, 1.6rr, lt4 springs, 4 bolt mains, long tubes, TDs, short throw...etc

                              You actually had trouble seeing over the pop up lights? How tall are you? They don't even effect me at all, but i've pretty much driven firebirds since i started driving
