i test drove a 99 ls1 and dog gone it i had to have the salesmen ride in the car with me so i couldnt really put it to the floor but just piddling in it and i could just feel the power and i never got on it i wanted to drive it home so bad but i couldnt afford it at the time :(
You actually had trouble seeing over the pop up lights? How tall are you? They don't even effect me at all, but i've pretty much driven firebirds since i started driving
eh, its fun until you get used to it. then you want to mod it and make more power to get your fix. when i first got mine i was like OMG, soon after its just eh...needs some mods.
Until you put a shift kit in the A4 i drove a 97 with a shift kit and omg its breakneck torque at every gear. :drool:
lt1s come witha factory "shift kit" with the transmission perform button.(firms up the shifts and lets it rev out a bit more before each shift) mine has no problem chirping any gear at wot.

Then you swear you'll never spray more than 75, 100, no 150 shot! Honest!
Then you're calling your performance shop and asking them to readjust the tune for a bigger shot. Never ends. :(
