Rod Run Pigeon Forge Resorts?

Well, i'm gettin ready to book the weekend in pigeon forge for rod run, just wondering if there is anywhere that someone recommends. I've been a couple of times, but this time its gonna be 2 couples going. So I want something a little comforting. Looking for anything around 200 dollars a night. Don't want to spend more than 400 in two nights. Cabins or Condos preffered... not looking for a hotel or motel.

There's a ton of places down there that rent out cabins. For the last 3 years we've stayed in Cabins run by AA Cabins. They've got some real nice places, you can check em out here: http://www.aacabinsinthesmokies.com/
I'm not 100% sure on their rates but it looks like they have something for less than 200 a night.

i'm debating on going on the trail... i really want to but its gonna be me and my gf, with her friend and her friend's bf. If he wants to go then they can go shopping and i'll def go. But its up in the air right now... thanks

well i found a cabin on ebay... and before i hear the bad news from everyone... I am gettin a 2br cabin in pigeon forge for 258 dollars after tax for 2 nights... the 20th and 21st. Its 2 miles from the parkway and she has 400 feedback and all 100% and its all she deals with... cabins. Guess we will see how it goes.

Head on out to TN, all you'll have to pay for is food, gas, and lodging. The show itself, the cruising and all is free. No entry forms that I've ever heard of. I've "heard" there's racing down on the parkway around 2am every night during Rod Run, but I can't confirm that..... lol. It's a blast!

they try to race and spin tires at night, but you'll see a hundred cops giving out tickets. Still fun

Yeah, they write loads of tickets there every year. People just can't seem to not do burnouts in traffic.... lol.

about 3 years ago they took buckets of water and poured down the side of the road and kept trying to get people to spin out... i barely did and was trying to keep from gettin a ticket. Anyways, there was a small RV that was pumping the gas and spinning the tires!?!?!?! i think the next round i saw him in the median with 2 cops behind him.
