Yea and HE is the only one who can fix that, I've been through **** in my life and I made dumbass mistakes and handled them the wrong way. It took me long enough to realize, but I was the only one who could change my life. Hopefully he will learn that soon...i just see no need for talkin **** to him right now

A bit of advice....

I just spent all of 2006 dealing with a situation very similar to this.

Vanquish, the best thing you can do is contact an attorney immediately, file a motion for dissolution to get the ball rolling, file a motion for custody of your child, provide proof to back up any claims or accusations in your motions, and file a motion for a Civil Protection Order/Non-Stalking Order. DO NOT LET HER STRIKE FIRST. If you absolutely must, in the interest of the safety of your child, contact your local PD and demand that an officer excort you to your wife's location to pick up your child. You can also perform your own private investigation (check your local laws regarding P.I. to learn what you can and can't do). I video taped my ex-wife breaking into someones apartment with my 7 and 3 year old right beside her. I sent it to the police and they came and picker her up and called me to come get my kids. There are so many things you can do ahead of time to ensure a win in your situation.

Vanquish, that is a horrible situation you are in and I wish you the best of luck dealing with it. Ignore the negativity on here. Sounds like you broke down in the moment, but want to do something good, and that is what counts. Your idea of going to her mother is maybe decent, but only if you know her mother well enough to guarantee that she will not take offense and just be on her daughter's side. 98Red3.8's advice is good, and those are the kinds of things you should consider. Sounds like you love your daughter a lot, so right now you just need to keep thinking about what is best for her. Call child protective services. I don't know specific laws and stuff, but usually when this kind of thing is reported, they can go in without much warning and take the kid, unlike the police.

Good luck! Keep your head up, and don't o mixing your RX w/alcohol just to forget it all for a bit. It's not worth the risk.

If you tell CPS that her mother is doing drugs... cant they just piss test you both? Of course that sh1t might only last in your system detectably for 7days or so.
I agree with Belle and 98RED3.8.
I think her mother might not believe you or just wont care and take her daughter's side.
Sorry to here about your wife 98RED3.8... at least you got payback and your kids.
