Re: UDLOSE up and running yet?

IDK sounds stupid but take a step back and examine everything you can. Even the most basic and hypothetical stuations. It's an internal combustion motor, you know how it works so there has to be something that is not in place.
Let's flip a coin. Heads I get tail, Tails I get head.

but its wierd the essentials to that motor are
        fuel
        spark
        and timing....

if all are in place....you should expect to see it fire up.....my last thought is to replace the crank position and cam position sensor.

That would be a good place to start. Probably something simple like that and you were ready to chuck the project over a sensor. For me I can take care of the essential parts and it's bound to be a minor piece that screws it up.

an engine HAS to Have Compression! I think it is because of the gasoline (and quality/octane levels).

I know for dam sure that you cant ignite nitro METHANE without alot of compression. (Note: NOT to be confused with nitrous oxide)

Drop some 100% nitro methane on a hard floor. Now drop a match in it. It will NOT light. It requires compression. Now get a hammer and whack that puddle of nitro and it will explode.

i am gonna go home in a bit and test a few things.... I found that my flex plate bolts were rubbing on my dust guard a bit...fixed that......that friction wouldnt be enought o make the motor not turn over would it?

oh well, I am gonna put it back together tonight and give it another shot.

did you even check the compression?

how you know the timing is right?

Did you change all the sensors when rebuilding or are you using the old ones?

old ones that would be $500 at least for all new sensors lol
