They couldn't get the tank to light with tracers from close range because they didn't have enough air friction to light. Once they moved the tank back they finally got it to catch on fire.
They could do the myth that stoping a car by sliding it sideways makes for a shorter stoping distance. That is pretty common in movies.
I really doubt that sideways stopping will be a quicker stop.
I do put a max of 20% acetone mix in my tank everytime I fill up.
If it doesnt help MPG it helps clean the system. I wonder what it
does to rubber and gaskets?

how about the myth that premium gas makes gives you better gas milage/better performance (i.e. if you have stock 3800, using 93 isnt gonna do squat)

I dont believe women are better drivers (no offense!) I have only seen a few professional women drivers compared to allll the men..
I do believe women have better small hand coordination... (better at drawing)
Where-as men have better big hand coordination... swinging a bat, punching, sawing..etc
I think that if you put 93 in a stock car it will not really benefit in MPG.
89 is better for that!!
If you are using that stock car for racing... yes, it will LIKE the 93 better.
N/A = alot of KR
Yes, thats right, I just said that 89 makes more power than 93
Dont laugh but I'm gonna cite my source and prove it:

I have tested that one for myself, and I know how it goes..... it's just the general public seems to still believe it. I've went over 8K miles on Pennzoil. I usually don't change till my "Change Oil" light comes on every 7K miles.
Dad used to run 20,000 (yes twenty THOUSAND) miles between changes on our 80s Caprice. 305 V8 was still going strong when we sold it at 196,000 miles. I saw the car 2 years later, still running.
Lol, some things are hard to believe, but I'd like to see the Mythbusters do something on oil life. Maybe test the oil's viscosity and breakdown over 3000 miles, and average that out based on the RPMS it turned, then compare it to 5K, 7K, 10K, 15K..... etc. and see just how much difference there is in the oil at the intervals, and if there's any metal in the oil in the early tests versus any oil in the later tests. I'd also like to see them do some inspection of the motor at each interval.
I find that interesting, and I still don't see how people can justify an oil change every 3000 miles.....
I have this little Blackstone laboratories test kit.
I fill it up with a little oil, send it back to them (for a price)and they will
tell me EVERYTHING that is going on in the engine.
It is a good way to spot problems before they occur.
This is how you could do your test. It will take 2 test kits

not only does it not improve gas mileage or performance, the fuel is harder to burn on a car not engineered for it and can cause difficulty starting especially in the cold

... Yeeea.. see the mythbusters is a tv show... and they like.. need an audience. So i doubt they'd waste time on a boring "oil life" myth just so they could put a few gear heads questions to rest. They're not that desperate.... yet.
