Id really like to know what type of V6's there will be in here, Im actually thinking about sticking strong to a 2009 Camaro V6, tearing it down, getting all the info I can, and updating the technical parts of this board with the info I find. I wouldn't mind being the leading person on the drivetrain info for the new Camaro...;)
1995 Pontiac Firebird
2008 Chevrolet Silverado LT Crew Cab 4x4
you are obviously a bigger man than I, but that would be awesome, Mogobs the pioneer
and forerunner
If I had a brand new engine... I would probably give it HELL to say the least!
If I bought a used engine.. yea, first thing I'm gonna do is rebuild it before I put it in
2k2 camaro, K&N, SLP whisper lid, Konis, AEM, HP Tuners, Angel eyes/Halos, CF SS ram air hood, 4.10s, Zexel Torsen, UMI SFCs, CrossFire, BFGs, Gatorback, Catco, Flows, and TLC! DONT feed the Trolls!
I'll be placing my order just as soon as GM begins to take them. I have just about $14k saved up already, and I still have a while to go. Whatever the options it comes with, I'm getting! Hopefully they give it t-tops, if not, it's going to be a 'vert. :naughty:
my dad told me he wants to sell my car and buy the 09 camaro V8 since i dont want to bring my car to college with me next year he will use the 09 when ever he wants and when i come home its all mine i think thats a fair deal
The profile looks way too much like a dang mustang...that pisses me off. After looking at those pictures, I like it considerably less. I'm not the biggest fan of convertibles, so I won't jump on anything, but i sure hope the coupe looks better.. :(
It's hard to get your hopes up over a concept car. Remember when the latest Mustang concept came out? Thing looked awesome. Then they revealed the production model and I was more than a little dissapointed. Mustangs look good with aftermarket body work, but the stock look is terrible. Lets hope the production Camaro doesn't follow suit. I really think with the bold, bulky body lines, smaller wheels would look horrible.
i dunno, GM has said repeatedly that they're going to try to stay as close to the concept as possible. i mean, the 24" rims will be scaled down and stuff like that but again, they've stressed it...

Oh please no 24 inch rims... ugh, if they sell it like that then 300,000 black dudes in Oakland will be driving around in them with even UGLIER 28" wheels.... :shudder:
