Whats everybody up to?

Hey fellas? Hows it goin? :wavey:

Haven't been around these parts in awhile, been busy researching and buying parts for the LS1/T56 swap. Still searching for the right motor for the right price, got most of the other stuff already. Hope to have the motor out by the middle of this month, and hope to have the LS1 in by the end of this month. Not a lot of time for this project between school and work. Oh well, at least I can still drive it for a little while longer. So...whats everyone else been up to lately? Everybody have a good holiday? Calling for some snow tonight, so hopefully no school tomorrow! :banana:

some snow already here. If your swap isn't as good looking as teh one done i the 70's Bird, I'll be highly disappointed.

Just wondering. Why not just focus on the Vette and keep the V6 for fuel and practicality.

Hey guys, good to see some old faces still around! Vette is doin good, actually just put an Air Gap intake manifold on it, runs better then ever now. Swap is getting ready to be underway, still searchin for the motor and tranny. I'm really debating just sticking with a 4L60e, would knock a lot of cost off the swap instead of having to convert to stick as well. Otherwise I am not too worried. And who says LS1's can't get 20+ mpg? :P

BTW, do you ever go to the DQ meet on the first wednesday in madison? I'm
pretty sure I saw your car there once but you never got out of it so I didn't
get a chance to find out if it was you.

Yea Casper, I went one time after work. I was with a buddy and there didn't seem to be many cars there. Right as we were about to get out something came up and we had to run. Shoot, I didn't know there were any members this close to me. Pics of your ride? I'm sure I've seen it.

Yeah it was pretty cold that night, that's why there wasn't alot of cars.

The windows aren't tinted anymore because I got a ticket, but heres a pic.
