I am looking to buy a poster or a picture signed by this actor, on ebay ........now here's the problem, how do i know i am getting an authentic signature and not some computerized signature? .......... anyone can pick up a marker and copy the signature ..........also, in some auction it says that it'll come with a COA (certificate of authentication) ........who will give this coa ? ..............
There really isn't any way of knowing. A COA doesn't mean squat if you ever try to sell it later on. Most COA's are just duplicates from a copier, then hand written by some dood at the card or gift shop. I have an autographed Hockey Puck signed by Dave Brown, and it came with a cheezy COA that I eventually threw away. The puck only costed me $7 shipped, so I bought it.
I guess just look around for some of their autographs online and see if they match. You really don't know, and like was said, anyone can print up a COA. Maybe ask where the COA is registered, and see if it is one of the companies that do COAs, or just a made up name.

The second one comes with THEIR COA... so I don't know if that one would be as legit as the first link. The first link has a COA from Universal Productions... maybe you could google it and see what you find. But if you are goin to purchase one of these, then go with the first one! I bought something auto'd once and they sent me a COA that came from them... it was a piece of paper that had my name printed on it and with pencil said authenticly hand signed... so i was pretty upset. Nowadays anyone will do something to make a buck, for the price, i say go for it.

Good point......i didn't paid attention to who's coa it is .......... so, if it's anything other than the seller it'll be good .............. the person i am getting this for , i know she'll like the 2nd pic ........so, i gotta look around to see if could find the 2nd pic with the authentic coa .............thanks for help
