only within the past year could we buy alcohol on sunday.. ALL liquor not sold in a bar is sold in state run stores, including wines and wine coolers. beer is only sold in cases at distributors. some bars and restaraunts can sell 6 packs and quarts (or 40's depending on teh brand), but only 2 sixes at a time..

lol.. we've learned to plan ahead.. always have a spare case on ya, so in case you do want to have a few buddies over and its after 8pm (when most of the distributors close) you can still have a party without paying bar prices for 6 packs...
yeah, the laws can probably be traced back to pennsylvania being founded by puritans... the amish actually have parties and have been busted in teh past for large amounts of drugs and distribution..

bars are not open here on sunday. the only alcohol you can buy on sunday is beer from convenient stores (nothing strong at all). zing! :) Yea, your state sucks too

I used to have to cross state lines to get booze when I lived in PA. Now I can buy it anywhere from a gas station to a walmart.
Yeah, in st. louis we can get it anywhere. 7-11, Walmart, the grocery store, and hell, if its after 1:30 and the stores in st. louis stop selling, we can drive across the river over to the east side and get it anytime we want

lol this got really off topic really fast... but for an update...
about 8 of my friends got arrested.. 2 were over 18.. the party was saturday and one turned 18 on friday.. so he said they only cited him so it didnt count as an arrest.. and they didnt charge either with contributing to minors... the 2 18 year olds go to court in about an hour.. everyone else has to go back to the station and find out when their court date is...
also... the cops told the ones they arrested.. that they were just going to tell them to keep it down cause there was a noise complaint.. but when everyone took off running they had to make arrests.. or some ****... i think thats just a lie.. but oh well.. i know i wouldnt have been sticking around to find out...
