Wondering that too. My car has keyless entry, and infact, when i use my door key the alarm will go off. So in theory, if this indeed works, would the "air pressure" also cause the alarm to go off.

(who am i kidding, i drive an effin convertible, this is probably the least of my concerns)

yes, the alarm will go off if its armed... not because of the air pressure directly (which we all know is BS :bs: anyways and wont work) but because the door was opened. It will give you about 3 seconds to stick your key in the ignition and turn it to RUN before the alarm goes off

did anybody else notice that it looked like the door panel was kinda dented around the lock cylinder, i suppose we dont have to worry about that because our doors are fiberglass, but still

                7. I got my car and it was missing the key fob. I had to rush to get the car started if i didn't want the alarm to go off, and until my key fob shipped, i had time to actually time it.

I know at least in my car, the air pressure wouldn't set the alarm off, but the force of you hitting the tennisball sure would. If you just hardly tap the rear half of the car, the alarm goes off, and up to about a light bump toward teh front of the car.

you can change the sensitivity... you gotta smack my car pretty hard to get the alarm to go off. and yes... i'm gonna hafta go with a big fat :bs: on this one too. since when is the air pressure gonna align all the pins in exactly the right place and rotate the lock cylinder? the air is moving straight in and the lock cylinder needs to rotate. no way.

If it's the air pressure that pops it, then wouldn't the cans of keyboard cleaner also pop the locks; they put out pressure?

Just like drifting was invented by tire companies, this tennis ball key thing is just a way for tennis ball companies to pick up their sales in the off season.

3 seconds? That ain't much time.. haha its like a spy film "this vehicle will explode in 3.. 2.. 1..."

Anyway, i'm thinking this airpressuretennisballthingy will only work on certain types of locks... at least thats what i'm going with.
