yeah they were made out of metal, I remember I had a voltron set that was mostly made out of metal, they were recalled for using lead based paint.

7-4-07 I will be seeing the movie, trying to decide if I want to go see it at the drive-in (if they will be showing it) or the regular theater.

Bumble Bee was actually a yelllow VW Beetle. Which makes more sence than a Camaro. But who cares!! It's cool to see the Camaro in it.

Yeah my transformers were metal too but some of them were plastic, like the smaller ones.

I remember there was plastic and metal on most of the ones I had. Jazz was my fav.

Without looking.. can you name the charaters with what cars they were?

Jazz = Porche
Bumble Bee = 60's VW Bug
Optimus Prime = Big rig

*Megatron - the gun
*Starscream - the F-15, and there was another but can't remember the name, I think it was purple
*Soundwave - the boombox, with cassette tapes, there was a bird of some sort and a mountain lion or some sort of cat.
*Oh, and the green construction vehicles - there were 6 or 7 and they would make 1 big robot
*The Dinobots - I can only remember Slag
*I can't remember the yellow Lambos name. Oh this is killing me.

I still have about 9~10 original transformers, not including the airialbots 5 pack for superion still in original package w/the Bradlee's $28.00 price tag on it.
