Some people over on that forum straight up piss me off! I was just browsing through one of the threads . Some of those guys are so ignorant, its unbelievable. I like all f-bodys...v6's v8's. but these guys think their so much tougher cause they have the lt1. god forbid anyone buy a v6 camaro..unless its a winter beater!!! jeez :spank:
I honestly thank god I have a V6. Im 17, and I am going to be the first to admit, I dont drive very smart all the time. (I am however learning from my many mistakes, and dont screw around to often anymore) With theses simple little "mistakes" in my V6, I coulda been dead by now in any vehicle (but the stakes are only larger in a V8 with my lack of driving experience).
"Its not what you enjoy that matters, what matters is how much you enjoy doing it" (Wow, my quote of the month)

I am getting really tired of reading these threads, they come up about once a month and its the same dam thing every time
I dont understand why you guys get so worked up over the v8 guys talking crap. Who cares??!!! Let'em talk. I used to take it personally too, but I realized that it doesnt matter wtf other people think of my car, its mine and I'll do what I want with it. I dont need their opinions.
The funny thing is, on my local board, the LS1/LT1 guys are cooler to me than anyone else. Bibber is right, its only the select few who run their mouths that make them all look like a$$hats. Dont get butthurt over it.
Remember, people on here make fun of imports in the same way that the few v8 guys say about us ;)
That doesn't surprise me. A lot of people get on message boards and think they're hot ****, especially if they drive a powerful car.
I love my V6, wouldn't trade it for anything, although it holds sentimental value for me. I will, however, probably own an LSX car at some point.

....wow.........what *******s, but get used to it. I go to car shows all the time around here and I'll sit behind my car and guys will walk up and do one of two things...They will either go directly to the engine bay, and start talking back and forth and then just walk away in a hurry with out ever looking at the car...or they will start looking in and around the car and then make a comment like "hey man this is a really nice car, shinny, what you got in there"..."a v-6"........."oh" and person walks away to their SS.
Its part of owning a v6 I suppose, just enjoy the car for what it is, not what everyone wants you to have!

you better not go onto ls1tech, don't wanna have to buy more tissues for ya. ;)
it wasnt a matter of crying it was a matter of being pissed off because their so ignorant...dont know what i need the tissues for...hmmmmmmmmmmmm:tdown:
+2 on that! If you have a body kit/stock RS package dont even bother posting there. They are pretty much assh0les all the time. The guy who owns LS1tech is probably the biggest one of them all. We got into it a couple of times, so I came here. There are better people on here! Just use those places for info.
the funny thing is, you get all these v8 owner a holes, and yet, they rag on the lt1 just as much as the v6 they're so ****ed in the head they cant even like another v8.
current car- 95 Trans am- bolt ons, parked and collecting dust. why? because **** it

your getting your panties in a bunch over what some v8 guys say. What did you expect from the v8 guys??? If it bothers you that much stick to v6 threads
So my truck is finally getting some work done, after 17 years, Oil pressure sensor went out and it’s located under the lower intake manifold. Have to...
