Re: Thinking or parting with the Maro

If you don't feel that badly about getting rid of it, maybe it's the best thing. You don't have to sell it though, take it with you. I'd rather be driving a Camaro than a crappy *** Jeep any day of the week....hell, those don't approach the sexiness of a Camaro. Sorry Jeep lovers.

I wish I had a beater, although I'd probably still drive my Camaro more than you do..I start to miss it after awhile :(. I'll NEVER sell my Camaro, ever. It's paid off, why bother? When I need a new car I'll save up a little cash for the down and take out a loan.

x2 for sure. And i know how awesome it is to have your first car when your older, my dad still has his '68 mustang that he bought when he was 15. It's awesome he still has it, and i'm gonna take after him and do the same...That way i can give my son a classic when he is old enough..or when i die :p

It's been in storage for a few years now, but if memory serves, the odometer reads somewhere in the 40K range. Keep in mind in the 60s they only had 5 digit odometers. I believe the engine may have been rebuilt once before, and it's next to be restored, now that he is nearly done with this project car:
