It's things like that that i dream about..things that could never happen... 180 cars with millions in worth discovered on your own property...wow...that's all i can say...there is not a single thing that could be in that barn that would be better than what was..

i heard another story like that, but it was with all american muscle cars kept in mint condition. and there were also a bunch of engines and really nice performance parts. my cousin had the magazine with the story in it. ill see if i can get it.

I don't know where this is at, but if it were in America, that'd be cool, but technically none of those cars would be yours. Ownership overrides possession..therefore if "Frank Schwartz" owned those cars, died, and his son sold the property to you, you find the cars..well, they belong to Frank Schwartz still..so you couldn't register or sell them..His son, upon hearing about this could come up to your door and tell you he's taking the cars that are rightfully his.

The only thing you could really do is start up an illegal parting business on eBay or something without telling about all these cars you found.

I could be wrong, but I thought from what I know that there is kind of a limit on that. Since these have been untouched and unclaimed in 15 years and the property was sold to this guy, they are probably rightfully his. Stuff like this has so many loopholes, rules, etc. for both parties it would be hard to generalize (just from what I know)

on a side not, that guy is one lucky bastard if he gets to keep those!

The cars are legally his because he bought the property so anything on it unless the contract said otherwise is his

looks like it was climate controlled at one point... eventually the birds got in... and bird 5hit is probably one of the worst things to leave on a car you intend to preserve. i had a 1986 mitsubishi mirage that i didn't wash for a few months - the bird 5hit ate through the paint.
