how much should i offer

I have been looking for a car for me to work on in autoshop and i found a 94 firebird with 100k miles on it but it need a motor rebuild. he was asking 500 for it but told me if thats to high to make an offer i was thinking more like 300 does that sound fair. the car is in awsome shape besides the motor.

well what all works? i mean i paid 800$ for my 3.8l a4 with a 98 motor in it with half the mileage of the original 210K miles it had and the power windows and radio didnt work

everything i tired worked windows, head lights, driver sides seats. no dents and the body and paint in it awsome its sad but it looks better then mine

give him 500 for it...all it needs is a motor that u can pic up for 500 bucks...1k and u have urself from what ur sayin a solid 94

I would say definately give him the $500, it sounds like it's more than worth it.

But, on the other hand, if he was dumb enough to say make him an offer....Then I wouldn't hesitate to offer him something lower than the $500.

exactly. Start at $400 and work your way up.
