I just heard this on the radio today. The Supreme Court outlaw pit manauver because a man who is now paralyzed.
According to the radio the man was driving recklessly and led the police in a chase for almost half of a day's worth.
A cop got an ok to pit him and he hit a pole or a tree. His car was totalled and he was left paralyzed.
This man has no criminal record and he wasn't drunk either. He was just having a bad day.
But still in my opinion, he chose to run from the cops. I think it was right for the cop to use that manuaver. Or else he might have paralyzed or killed someone else.
Any thoughts on this? If you find the article, plz. post it.
