Surviving the Flu

Well almost....Today is my first day out of bed since Monday, and im at work...a great place to recover. The Flu sucks and for those who have never had it, I will tell you why...

a) you sweat non stop
b) even as your sweat you are freezing cold
c) you have ZERO energy
d) if you eat, you puke
e) you cough non-stop
f) your nose doesnt stop running
g) basically you feel like ****

so to those of you who have never had it, consider this me coughing on all of you.

one thing good working in the health care field. i can be around almost anything and not catch it

I got it 20 years ago, when I was living alone. I felt so bad (all of the above + pain) I dragged myself to the Emergency room. "You have the flu. Go home."

Haven't missed a flu shot since.

had it like 7 years ago
it hurt the H E L L out of my back even though my back never had problems and I was young
for a whole weak the only thing I was able to keep down was a few crackers
One night I laid in the warm tub hoping that would help me go to sleep... Wrong again!

yea, difficulty to sleep is definetly another factor

I've had influenza (respiratory flu) since thursday, and as a result of that i now have pneumonia :banana: ****ing sucks

Ooh yea, my sister had that... Had to have half her left lung removed.

I never get sick, the last time was probably 12 years ago. How you say? drink more alcohol. It will kill the germs and bacteria before they have a chance to settle in. If that doesn't work your not drinking enough, try harder.

Try this, about 7 years ago I had the Flu, and Step Throat at the same time. Worst 2 weeks of my life!

take a bunch of sleeping / pain pills
drink water till you cant anymore
drink a little orange juice
take vitamins
sleep it off
