Went for a drive....

Anyone else have some reeeeeally nice back country roads they can drive on? I tell you what, its something else... probably the biggest thing i'll miss about this area...

It was a lovely day today (after weeks of rain), 'bout 70* so i went for a drive... don't worry, i took a camera :)









This was the first place i stopped for a couple pics. As you can tell the view from up here is phenomenal. You can pretty much see all of Silicon Valley in those first two photos...

These two i took while driving. You can see the barrier there is to prevent idiots from driving off the cliff while trying to take pictures...

I got Rancho Santa Fe, CA as a backroads playground for my driving enjoyment. Lots of fun driving through that area, plus on top of that no cops, seeing as how Rancho has their own police force, and they refuse to chase speeding cars.

oh wow.. I voted yes, I have some cool back roads, but NOTHING compared to that! That's amazing! It's been 40-50 here and raining for the last few months.. :( It hasn't even been dry enough to wash my car..of course that hasn't stopped me..i actually washed it while it was pouring the other day. I just can't stand a dirty black car.

Looking forward to summer now!

yeah. i have a bunch out here in ohio. back in pa there arent as many that are a lot of fun to cruise on.

i stayed at school over fall break (mid october) and was bored as an old mans balls, so i went exploring. i wish i had taken pictures, because i was cruising, t-tops off, past amish people and stuff. crazy ohio.

The backroads to reach the parkway have 11 90 degree turns - so that's 22 each day for my commute. I wonder how I burned through a set of tires in 2 years in my bimmer. :banana:

Theres backroads here in the middle of nowhere country USA, but i'm sick of seeing the same old horizon (nothing)

There used to be a lot of back roads here where I used to ride my bike around. It all went to real estate now. Kinda sad.
