That was just great.

And as for the people making fun of the victims of katrina, I don't find that very funny, because we did whatever we could do to survive at that time. We had no power, no way of transportation because of gas stations being closed, and flooded waters everywhere. Dead bodies floating across those waters didn't help much either. After a few days of it and people ran out of supplies, they did whatever possible for means of survival. I don't blame them one bit.

Don't think it was meant as a joke just simpley showing the diffrence of perception. Two groups doing apparently the same thing and they were perceived diff.

Ahh , gotcha. I see what you are saying now.
I think the best part of all of it was.......whenever the news crews finally came to tape what was going on down here they interviewed a cop in a supermarket and was asked what he was doing there. His reply was, "Trying to stop the looters from stealing anymore stuff" and just as he says that his partner walks up behind him with a basket full of junk and asks him if there was anything else he needed.

I laughed hysterically for a few good minutes. He's there to protect and serve, but at the same time he was looting for himself.

During that time looting was a very bad problem and most people had signs posted in their yards about shooting looters. Well, I had a sign in my front yard that said, "Looters will be shot, touching my car will get you beat down then shot twice"
