they don't edit the movie to remove violence or sex. The government just isn't as strict in its ratings. Most movies that are rated PG-13 elsewhere in Canada and in the US are rated G here and there is no change in the content.
I'd really appreciate if people stopped calling me a frenchie...lol! I'm an ANGLO-Quebecker!
mike88, its rated R here becuase we have a bunch of pansies that would piss and moan if it didnt carry a R rating.
Exactly. If it was rated PG13 then you'd get people who watch the trailer and think "Hmmmm...". They then take they're children to see the (obviously) gory movie and subsequently sue the film company and theaters for it :spank:

So you're saying you're like Matthew Perry in "The Whole Nine Yards"?

That movie was filmed very close to my house so I'm assuming that's what you're getting at...other than that I can't remember the movie.
10% of the population in this province is Anglo, in Montreal its 35%. My ancestors are Brits and the Irish. Might I remind you all that your cars were built by Frenchmen in Ste. Therese, Quebec...so if you still insist that I'm french, you should be nicer to me!...lol
