  • Making driving song cd

I'm putting together a cd of all my favorite "driving" songs (or just songs that go well with driving). So far this is my list:

"Knight Rider Theme Remix" -The Crystal Method

"Trip Like I Do" -The Crystal Method

    "Breathe" -Prodigy

    "Dragula" -Rob Zombie

"The Hand that Feeds" -Nine Inch Nails

    "The Distance" -Cake

    "Praise You" -Fat Boy Slim

    "Knights of Cydonia" -Muse

    "Steve McQueen" -Sheryl Crow

    "Jump" -Van Halen

    "Panama" -Van Halen

    "Black Night" -Deep Purple

    "Fireball" -Deep Purple

    "Highway Star" -Deep Purple

    "Radar Love" -Golden Earring

    "Bat Out of Hell" -Meatloaf

    "Don't Stop Me Now" -Queen

    "Jessica" -The Allman Brothers Band

So thats what i've got so far. Now i think i have to trim it down a bit, and i also would like it more homosomethingthatmeansallonegroupized. You can see i've got some techno-esque songs at the beginning and then by the end its full on classic rock... so.. suggestions?

Here are some songs i already cut/am on the fence about:

    "Don't Bring Me Down" -ELO

    "Woman" -Wolfmother

    "Joker and the Theif" -Wolfmother

    "Crossroads" -Cream

"Rock and Roll" -Led Zeppelin (only cuz the sound.. for some reason, is really quiet on the zeppelin tracks :()

    So yea.

[PS]I don't want your opinions about how ____ song i have on the list sucks worse than niko's sister. Just say "replace ___ with ___"

If you haven't heard Freebird, then you just aren't American. Or, at least southern.

But yeah, as for driving music............put anything by Killswitch Engage or Lamb of God on there and you will have enough good music to drive all the way across the country and back. You can even throw some old Metallica (Black Album or older) on there too, just to say that you rock. :) And also put "Don't Fear The Reaper" on there, that's the ultimate cruising song.

I throw classic rock into my stereo, mostly The Scorpions or Boston. Best driving music!
