  • time for me to spend money.. urgh

just when ya think you finally have some extra cash to spend on goodies... something comes up. lol.

ive had my flowmaster 80 series muffler sitting in my garage for three weeks now, lol, and i just cant get it on yet.

i found out today that i need both a idler and a tension pulley.

and since its getting hot out now, i need to fix my a/c which i took the car to a shop today and found out its indeed the compressor.

so looks like my muffler is on hold for a little bit longer. im glad i get my parts 1/2 off though threw my tech. school.

so tomorrow im ordering both pullys, gonna cost me 30 bucks, not too bad, and then compressor will probly run me only 100 something.

not sure the point of this post... maybe just a rant. lol.

fixing the a/c can include other things than just the compressor, especially if the insides of the compressor shell out. If that happens you would need a new condenser, refrigerant, orfis tube(a little filter thing), cant think of anything else.

O and don't buy re manufactured compressors.

have you considered putting the muffler on by yourself? Shouldn't be too hard if you want it on but don't want to pay.

my flowmaster 80 took under a 1/2 hr max to install in my drive way...didn't even need to jack the car up, the hardest part was sawing the damn stock muffler off...

save some $$$ and install yourself

i am installing the muffler myself... i just havent had the time, i work ALOT.
i would never go to a shop to get it installed, just for giggles i went and got a quote and they wanted 125... haha, no way.

and i got my pulleys today so im gonna put them on tomorrow at school, and i called around and found an amazing deal on a compressor - brand new, so im gonna have the place order me that also.

and this weekend i wanna flush out my radiator
