I was checking out an 07 WRX yesterday while I was waiting for my loaner car at the dealer. I was shocked to see the price tag of 28,700!!! It was fully loaded, but cmon. You can get a Legacy GT, with even more options for that price... Thats with a nicer interior, better stereo, better climate control, the whole nine yards. Im sure the WRX is geared more towards being sporty, but, give me all the toys in the Legacy for that price...

The Spec B the other Suby dealer has is an 06. They couldn't get rid of it, even with mark downs, so the manager started driving it. Stupid on them, good for me. With 6 kmi and it being a left over, I can prob get that for dirt... MSRP is 35,800.

BTW, I dunno how people say the goat is over priced when a friggin legacy is almost 36 grand...

I really don't get the WRX prices. They probably sell better and I want to say they are built in Japan, but that's still way too high for what you get. I agree that MSRP on a Spec B is over priced. All you really get is a 6 speed, shock/springs, navigation, and wheels. I don't think that is worth the 6-7k boost in price.

I've also always thought the goat was a bargain. Especially now since they are still sitting on lots roating.

Didn't you trade the goat for the Subaru?

          Just answering your question... :)
I find it interesting that no one has really mentioned Mazda or Mitsubishi... possibly cause they share most of their powertrains with domestic auto makers...? (Ford & Chrysler)
I think most can agree that it depends on the driver... but personally if i wanna get a grocery getter that'll hardly burn any gas... can't hardly beat the rice burners... but if i wanna haul something or take home some impressive times from the track... domestic is hard to beat...
yeah that's my last two cents... this argument is gettin kinda old...

Nah, I still have the goat. I sold the bird and bought the Legacy for the commuter/winter car.

Man, if I traded the goat for a subaru, sheesh, that'd be the day... lol.
