I'm just glad its finished. It was more than I expected. Now that I had to purchase a wet saw I do feel a little obligated to tile the floor in the other bathroom but no more backsplash type work for me. What a pain that stuff is.
I avoided redoing my bathrooms because I heard tile work was a huge PIA to get it to look nice. had you done tile before? how/where did you learn?
Wet saws are expensive but fun to play with.

looks nice man.
I had never did anything but walk on tile before. I did a little research online and talked to a friend in VA who had done some and then asked a LOT of questions to the guy at lowes. He was really helpful and explained everything to me and re-explained everything when I didn't understand part of it or termanology. I was actually surprised how much the guy knew and wasn't just collecting a check to be there.

I can't really tell from the pic. How straight and everything did the tile come out?
