So back in high school, my friend had this 96 or 97 3.8 Camaro. At that time and still to this day, he said he had a twin-turbo on it with a 6 spd tranny...he said he blew a head gasket and took off the turbo and put the stock tranny back in. His dad is a good mechanic supposedly, but I'm 95% he's full of ****. Do any of you guys even run TT on your 3.8's?
yea...he def fooled me in HS...but after being on this board, seeing that you can't just throw a turbo on, and not hearing twin-turbo at all...It reassured my doubts...
also, he once told me he had Limited-Slip rear end...but said that was were only one tire spun...so he doesn't kno what LSD is, and why would they put a turbo on but not a LSD...
oh well...I'll ask him again about it next time i talk w/ him ;)

In his defense, posi's don't work 100% of the time...they're more like 98% for both wheels spinning. Could have just been a fluke
id definately say hes lying to try and make his V6 sound faster than it is, and im willing to bet that lie started with some guy telling him that V6 F-bodies are slow and worthless. "No man, I've got a twin turbo set up with a 6spd in my V6."
just so everyone is aware a TT camaro is definetly possible there is atleast one the is already done and ATLEAST 2 that are very very near completion right now.
I know this kid did not have one, but some people seem to think its not possible for some reason???
i've seen two camaros that where tt and one firebird... the firebird was in person and the camaro's where online, so yes its possible but these guys had alot, and i mean, ALOT of money and work into these cars.

it would kinda be pointless IMO I would just by a trans am or z and then turbo that. But then again you never know. I'd say for something like that I'd need proof with pics or actually see the car.

Still trying to find oil leak on my Camaro, it’s a tough one. I think it is the oil pressure sender myself. Leaking when raving and going into boost....
