if its from a small city, i might wana pay/fight em.. if its from a big one... i wouldnt even pay it..... no large city is going to drive 4 hours to pick u up for a warrant..... and before a police officer can take u in for jsut a warrant, he has to get approval from the other city where u got the ticket, that they will come pick u up within 24 hours... large cities dont have the time or manpower to drive out 4 hours there then 4 hours back.... a small town will.... they have all the time in the world and they have to get as many arrests and junk as possible to prove they need the tax money and all that other political bs

But on the way back from cali i was following my friend going 68 in a 75 and a cop pulled me over for FOLLOWING TO CLOSE! i can deal with the speeding ticket cause i deserved that, but who gives a ticket for follwing to close? its not like i was even following him that close either.

and my court dates are in 2 different states. the speeding ticket is in yuma like 3 hours from my house, and the other is in cali like 4 hours from my house, hopefully i can get the locations changed. wish me luck

I would just pay them now, you will probably get another ticket going to each of the court sessions seeing as how you are prone to tickets. :)

I would strongly advise not doing this. If he chooses not to pay them (or even fight them), and he gets nabbed again in either state, he may have to spend the night in jail & quite possibly post bail, have to arrange a payment plan for the expired ticket(s), have his license suspended, and then have an arrest on his permanent record...if he fears that kinda thing. There are states out there who have a zero tolerance poicy when it comes to any type of scofflaw violations.

Concur. I am ex-SoCal, and my advice to Zonies is if you want to return, dont get popped with unpaid fines in the People's Republik of Kali!:spank:
