    Re: Favorite exhaust note?

The McLaren Mercedes SLR has a pretty sweet note, but what really makes beautiful music to me is the 1.5 Liter, supercharged V16 from the 1951 BRM F1 car.. that is sweet music! Revs to 12k rpm and produced some 500+hp; and designed in the late 40's none the less....

    BRM 1.5L V16 sound clip

And then you have the 4-rotor wankel engine.... that is some nice music as well!

    Mazda 787B on track...

Intrestingly the link for the BRM soundclip says its a 1953... anyway, it does sound good. Old cars always sound better than the new cars imo.

Ever notice that Japanese narrators always have the deepest voices?

Some personal favorites are probably not the most popular on this website, but I'm gonna put them as my personal favs.

I'll stick with my vtwin 1.063 liters of fury loping along at 60mph on a backroad somewhere.. may not scare anyone off but I can listen to that all day long as I watch the countryside go by.. :D
