  • Is this a real Firehawk?

The spoiler looks like some add-on, not a true Firehawk spoiler. I'm not so sure about those wheels, either.

He put a pic of the door tag...if he did that than most likely it's not a fake imo

Yeah, door tag... the nose emblem... hood... Firehawk sticker next to the airbox... I'd say it was real from the pics.

I'm sure you could probably call/email SLP with the VIN and they could tell you.

Edit --> He called it "gold". Maybe so it would sell.

ive never seen a pewter firehawk. and if its a firehawk, where is the firehawk lettering on the doors? and i looked hard, and didnt see a slp badge in the interior.

The firehawk stickers are on the doors. It's just a little hard to see in the pictures. I was looking for the slp badge too, but I wasn't sure if they all got it. It should have the cars birth number on the dash.

The best way to solve this would be to call slp and ask. They keep records for all their cars.

My boss used to have a firehawk that looked pewter like that ( not sure if it was pewter or not. ) I think they made 43 of them that body style, that're manuals. dunno about auto's. I dunno...I'd have to see the paperwork he had with his old firehawk, he has everything from SLP on his old 'hawk. :)

What's a "true Firehawk spoiler" look like?

He might have added the 2002 IROC spoiler.

That's my point. It actually depends on the year.

Take 96 for example, the Firehawk was a WS6 Formula with a T/A spoiler and fog lights like the W68 Firebirds.

wasn't that when they still called them the "formula firehawk".. or "firehawk formula"? I can't remember but for like one year or 2 formula was in the name then they just started calling them "firehawk" to tie fully into the firehawk racing series that was of course sponsored by firestone to sell firehawk tires.

No, not from SLP. You did get to choose what model ( Formula or T/A) you wanted the "Firehawk" upgrade on. Firehawk was really a factory RPO code which specified the options.
