the 78 is powered by a 406 with 2 stages of spray a modified holley carb, a bump stick with 600 in lift. eagle rods, crank, and pistons. the heads are pro line 2.08, 1.60 230 cc int. with 64cc chambers. yeilding 10.2:1 comp. th350 with a manual valve body, trans brake, and a tci 10in with 4000 in stall. the rear is a 10 bolt with 30 spline axles, c-clips eleminators, detroit true trac, 3.73 gears and mickey thompson sportsman pro's. she was runing 7.30's in the 1/8th & 11.20's in the 1/4. using only one stage of spray. spray put me in to cage territoy so i'm back halfing her and installing a cage. the 4 link rear suspension setup with coil overs should get me another few tenths even with the extra weight. i'm thinking i'll be around the low 10's with the second stage of spray. pics are coming i promiseComment
