305's aren't that bad. I mean you can make them fast. 3rd gen Mecham T/A's made 300 hp with 305's with just headers, cam, intake manifold and a new carb.

if youre going to make that claim with anything over 25 mph i call BS. there is no friggin way 4.10s will get you that kinda mileage, plain and simple.

and uh... that most definately does not look like an original 58k mile car. underhood and interior pics?

Well, tough guy, you'd be amazed what our cars can do when you don't drive like a kid with a sports car. Contrary to popular belief, not everyone floors it from stoplight to stoplight, or cruises at 100 MPH on the highway.
First, I filled my tank up all the way. Then, I had driven from Newport News to Gloucester to Richmond and back to Newport News, a total of about 250ish miles and able to sustain speeds of about 70 MPH for most of the way, with maybe 20% of the driving in city conditions. When i got back to Newport News, I filled the car up, and it only took about 11 gallons. 250/11 = 22.72 MPG.
But, if you don't believe me, Email other members with cammed cars and tall gears, and ask them what their MPG is...if they aren't some punk kid with have some restraint when driving, then they'll average the same mileage.
But, let's digress for a while...have you even driven a car with tall gears? Or, do you have the slightest grasp on how gears work in conjunction with the rest of the car? I think not..So, plain and simple, don't speak to matters that you have no real experience with.

lets not get all e-tough here. i simply call bs. what are your rpms at 70 mph?
dont assume i have no real experience with as ive had my fair share of vehicles performance modified or not, from 2.73s to 4.56s and those gears simply put the motor in a higher rpm range (resulting in your motor being in a higher powerband) making for more fuel consumption.
also i bought my v6 camaro in favor of a 3rd gen v8 car due to rising gas prices. i dont drive like a punk kid with a sports car, infact my car rarely ever sees wot (a lot of that reason being its a waste of time) and im usually not seen cruising any higher than 60 mph.
i just recall from experience that higher rpms call for higher fuel consumption.

good man good man.........thanks smokepanther anyways guys i am an adult and not a hod rodding teen! anyways the RS has a new high flow cat and flowmaster duals. i drove it about 2 hours home on the interstate doing 75-80mph and she did great. yeah so it wont get as good as gas mileage as a v-6. o f*ckin well. she does get great gas mileage for what she is. and hey guyslet me remindyou not to get angry, im not sitting here bashing v-6's or anything. i loved mine! I really just love all camaros in general,i think the camaro is one of the sweetest cars ever made!i just found a way tighter car thats all. mechanical wise and miles wise. not to mention parts for this motor and mods are so much cheaper and more common!
