finally found a v-8
finally traded my car for the camaroivebeen wanting. 1989 rs 305 with ttops 58,000 origional miles! sorry guess dont mean to punk out on the v-6's but i spose i need to join a v-8 forum unless you guys know about v-8too. anyone know another forum for my car? any body haveany tips about my new ride?

well you guys did all the blunt work lol...but yea, those V8's are slow...
The only benefit I can think of is the sound is a lot better than a 3.8...and it will be easier to work on...1999 Camaro Z/28

Stupid move. Less reliable, less powerful, worse gas mileage. As far as Camaros/Firebirds go I don't think you could've gone much more wrong.

it wouldnt take much for his "turd" to leave a lot of you guys in the dust.
i do agree on the gas mileage part though. i got rid of my v8 turd gen in favor of a 4th gen v6. the 3rd gen would most certainly eat the 4th gen (lt1s included...) for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
with 58k on the clock it should be in damn good condition. its all in what the owner wants, regardless of what others think. have fun w/ your new ride man.foggy headlights? wetsand... buff... WAX!!!

I had a 84 305 in my 79 G-Body LeMans...some mods and it was still slow as ****...fairly confident my dad's 1.9 Shaturn could have taken it...Originally posted by CamaroJeff™
