Side Vents

Ok, this is probably a stupid question.....the sidevents on the front fenders........do they actually do anything or are they just decoration? I didn't remove the vent, but visually they look like they go somewhere. Can someone tell me if they are functional and if so, what do they cool? Thanks.

Im pretty sure there for looks but they are suposed to look like they cool the brakes

I figured they were a farse, but I wanted to be sure in case anyone ever asked me when looking at my ride. I appreciate the reply, but you don't sound 100% sure. Does anyone know for sure?

100% for decoration. They're miles away from any real heat-source and have no ducting for cooling

actually, wouldnt fireturds stink then? cuz the vents are spreading out all the assgas

Its just part of the Ricer crap on the firebird that makes the firebird what I like to call.... a riced out camaro.
