  • pretty sure it's de-mod time

well its no secret this car hates me, after spending another few days pulling **** apart and putting it back together again, i have the same result....a car that is not running properly. :(

every step of the process has been issue after issue with nothing, and please trust me when I say NOTHING working the way it should, ive invested roughly the last 5 months (a few nights a week sometimes, 6 nights a week others) into this car and i really cant afford to anymore. So I believe i will begin stripping her down in the next few days and begin the part out process, then i'll swap a stock 3.8 in her and push her out the door in favor of an LS1 or Cobra..

I know people are gonna be disappointed, but this project has damn near sucked the life out of me, and i just dont think that can go down anymore

This couldn't be any more true... It's amazing how so many things can go wrong over and over again. Definitely draining.

so what are you gonna do when the cobra/ls1 has problems or needs a new engine?

its things like this which scare me, because i really do want to build up my 3.8, but even with the little bit i have done now, i have problems. a v8 swap of some kind definitely looks less troublesome, but so boring!

like bibber said in the other thread..

Take the turbo off this car, get a couple of those turbo simulators, and call it good :p
