WHAT!??? Did your post have anything to do with mine? I think not
WES FTW!
I see your comprehension skills are as sharp as ever, but let me explain for the rest of people here. When your engine fails, you upgrade. If I blew my engine sky high tommorow at the track, there's no way in hell I'd replace it with another stock LS1. Iron 408 ftw.

After taking a week off will make it even harder to get back to 'trying' to fix it. You will have that week to yourself and fully enjoy it. You will see what it will be like without having to worry about the car, then not want to do anything.
Believe me, in a week, there will be no urge to fix the car unless something is found that will solve the problems.
don't give up, try going to a shop and getting other opinions and see what others can come up with when looking at it
If you do give up I wouldn't mind those heads and intakes from ya, lol.
You may not want those heads and intakes too badly if what I think is wrong with it really is.
I think after what he told me last night, its either a cracked or warped head, intake, or a cracked block. I highly doubt, from what he told me, that its a cracked block. I told him to visually, and feel, for a crack in both the intake and passenger head. If he still cannot find a crack, then have the head Magnafluxed, and have the intake Zyglo'd. Hopefully, after all of that, the problem can be found, and if it is one of those to, he has a free intake or cylinder head from me.

I'll have to take a pic of the car he is currently driving...It's my old car and would be in the junkyard now if he didn't need it. That's got a lot to do with it. As well as having to get the battery from it every night to work on the car, as well as putting it back in.
So my truck is finally getting some work done, after 17 years, Oil pressure sensor went out and it’s located under the lower intake manifold. Have to...
