    any TR engines in F-bodies?

    I joined here because I found out there were some local guys, I must admit though, I don't own a V6 f-body, but I do have an F-body and a V6 lol....I've got a 99 TA and an 87 GN...

    I figured if anyone would know, ya'll would. Has anyone put a Turbo Regal engine in an F-body?

    there was a guy locally here in MI that had a grand national motor in his 97 camaro. Pretty sweet setup

            greg did the swap about a year or so ago with a gn motor.

            current car- 95 Trans am- bolt ons, parked and collecting dust. why? because **** it

              Yeah, I just like the idea for some reason.....wouldn't mind checking into something like that if I decide to go bigger with my Buick, thanks BTW!!!

                whats the point of putting in an old motor into a newer f-body?

                UDLOSER98, has a better and newer engine (L32 3.8L) which of course is better than an old GN engine

                I would rather have a newer L67 or L32(3.8L) than an older GN engine
                2k2 camaro, K&N, SLP whisper lid, Konis, AEM, HP Tuners, Angel eyes/Halos, CF SS ram air hood, 4.10s, Zexel Torsen, UMI SFCs, CrossFire, BFGs, Gatorback, Catco, Flows, and TLC! DONT feed the Trolls!

                    that doesnt matter
                    because of difference in operator ability / competence
                    (no offense ;P )

                        those GNs, because of their age have probably had to be rebuilt a few times
                        (FI engine = less durability/reliability)

                        So his L32 (3.8L) vs. those GNs have had different histories (good/bad)

                          If I bought his Used engine (or anyones)
                          first thing I would do is rebuild
                          and I would find problems if problems existed.

                          Dan is using a used engine (good 4 him) but sometimes you have to rip it open to find out whats wrong
